SATURNIA is an ambitioned TripHop/Ambient 2 man-Project from Portugal. Luis Simoes and Francisco Rebelo have created a beautiful album here: soft looping drumbeats, decent gong sounds, asian percussion, waving guitarsounds, ambient keyboards and psychedlic influences. Chrysalis is a great grooving opener. Bliss brings in some flowerpower atmosphere. Still life offers flutes and electronic percussion. A trick of light uses noises of tropical birds, soft percussion and mysterious keyboardsounds. Overall: Fans of unusual triphop and ambient sound collages should check out SATURNIA.
