SATURNIA.(The Glitter Odd)

This album is simply brilliant. A kind of hybridised cross between Pink Floyd, Gong, with slight, ever so slight ghostly images of Hawkwind, most of which is held down by some incredibly catchy dancey beats. There's eight tracks in all, each one's a beaut. Chrysalis kicks off the album, with just a dash of sitar to give it an eastern flavour. Bliss, well, what better title for a track. A really slow, hypnotic beat underpins some spacey chord work from the guitar and haunting vocals. Incredibly intelligent and strangely compelling music at all times, especially Still Life.Believe me, this is one very tasty album!
